Word is the Reline crew is coming with some drum and bass, some dubstep, some hotness and HELLA attitude. Compression will be its usual insanity, but with a lady's touch. (Note: Rob Cannon and Roomate are not actually women, but they do kick serious ass on the decks.)

In case you ain't heard, Compression got far more out of hand last week than expected. The ladies rocked the dance in force, and Compression crew ripped it like it was for TV. Asses were grabbed.

But now, running downhill toward the drum and bass armageddon that's sure to be the February 21st GOLDIE show, it's time to honor tradition and throw our annual GET DRUNK AND DANCE PARTY.


Time to get more stupid than usual and SHAKE IT. We got a THREE DOLLAR BEER special and a FIVE DOLLAR drink special and it's FREE at the door. So do the math: if you tip a dollar a drink (and you'd better), you can drink FIVE beers for 20 bucks. Then, you can take your shirt off and friggen GET DOWN. That's how we do it, and to make sure it's cracking, we're bringing out the mighty

January 31: The Warm-Up Ends

As you know, January is traditionally a peaceful time down at Compression, a time to reflect on the past year and come together as a crew. Days of calm contemplation, nights of petting wild unicorns and visiting crystal castles. Ahhhhhhh.

This Thursday is the last of these calm moments, a final chance to relax before the coming storm (see below, oh jesus). So this Thursday, Compression invites you to come out, sip some fine cocktails, and raise a hand or two in the air in the name of drum and bass. Granted, things might get COMPLETELY out of hand such that we decide to ride the unicorns over to the crystal castle, destroy the castle, and then sniff the remaining piles of crystal dust, but then we'll just deal with that when it happens.

Compression. Where unicorns roam free and perfectly normal people freak the fuck out and act like idiots from another dimension. See you there.
